For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by art. Once I understood that I could create things with my hands, I never wanted to stop. I've been faithfully sketching since I was little, while happily dabbling into other mediums along the way. In middle school I got into writing. In high school I learned how to screen print, paper mache, paint, and create digital art. Soon, I also picked up costuming as a hobby.
When I graduated high school, I thought I wanted to be a writer and tell stories to the world. I left to pursue an English degree at a university for about a year, but quickly realized I needed something else, somewhere else, that could fully immerse me in creativity. I left that university to return home and attend a local technical college while a collected my general credits and tried to figure out what I wanted to do with my life for about two years. During that time, I got a video camera and grew a passion for film. Then, during my last semester there, I took a small Flash animation class. After that, I knew what I needed to do.
I attended school at Columbia College Chicago and just recently graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Arts and Science, majoring in animation.
Currently I'm working on personal projects, including a couple comic series.
